My AC won’t turn on or is not blowing cool air. What should I do?
You may have tripped a breaker. Check your box and ensure that all switches are on the “on” position. If they are, try checking the outside unit for any clogs from dirt or debris. If it’s a thermostat issue, it may simply need new batteries. If all these common issues are not the culprit, contact our Northeast Georgia HVAC company to schedule a service with our technicians.
What are the signs that my HVAC unit needs servicing?
When you hear odd sounds or smell weird odors coming from your unit, that may be signs that you need a repair. In addition, if your noticed a spike in your monthly energy bill with normal use or if the air is not blowing at hot or as cold as it should be, a tune up of your equipment may fix the issue.

What are the benefits of a whole home humidifier?

Do I need to have my heater or air conditioner serviced each year?
Regular maintenance is one of the most important factors in ensuring the health and longevity of your heater or air conditioning system. Doing this not only makes sure your system is running efficiently, it reduces energy cost, prevents the unit from frequent malfunctions, and gives your heater or air conditioner a longer life. Without doing this, the performance of your heater or AC unit could gradually suffer.
What should I do if I spot mold?
Mold is present everywhere, as it is only a natural product of the environment. However, finding mold indoors poses immense health risks to everyone in the home. Mold spores can reproduce at an immensely rapid rate and cannot be easily seen or detected. They typically thrive in damp or dark environments, and will often grow on these areas. Mold can grow in your air conditioning unit, such as through the buildup of condensation, in the collection pan, the coil, and many other parts of the AC unit. It is important to keep up with regularly scheduled maintenance and cleanings of your AC, to reduce any chance of mold growth.
How can I reduce the cost of my energy bills?
Here are some of our suggestions, whether you have an air conditioning or heating unit. Replace your old air conditioning unit with a high-efficiency one. Most of the newer models that you can select from today will be high-efficiency. Keep up with regularly scheduled maintenance. Keep your air conditioner above 75 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer. Make sure the vents are free and clear and do not have any obstructions. Consider adding ceiling fans to distribute warm air in the room (to keep the room warm). Add a thermostat that you can program for times when you are out of the house or while you and your family are sleeping.
